When you purchase a cricket bat from Kasel Sports, you can rest assured that your bat will be covered during the warranty period should something go wrong. Bats sold by Kasel Sports have a 6-month warranty. The Cricket bat warranty is a goodwill agreement offered by Kasel Sports to repair or replace a bat that has suffered damage believed not to be the fault of the customer.
All warranty decisions are at the discretion of Kasel Sports.

Bats with broken handles, cracks and other minor problems that occur within the time and scope of the warranty will be repaired by Kasel Sports at our own expense. It is the customers responsibility to have the bat sent into our premises for assessment. It takes an average of 10-14 working days to complete most repair works. If the bat is not deemed to be fixable to a reasonable standard then it may be replaced at the manufacturer’s discretion. It is important to note that a replacement handle will not affect the performance of a bat.

The warranty does not cover:

• Yorker damage to the toe and other cracks to the toe due to tapping/sliding of the bat.

• Surface damage to the face, edge or toe that occurs through normal wear-and-tear or due to a lack of preparation (knocking-in) and inaccurate play.

• Damage due to moisture or extreme heat, or damage that occurs because of improper use.

• Damage resulting from the use of non-leather or composite balls, including hard bowling machine balls.

Please note – the excessive use of bowling machine balls can and may void your warranty.

It’s important to note that willow is a natural material and the bat may develop surface cracks in varying degrees during use. The application of a scuff sheet may help prevent some of these cracks and reduce surface damage. Kasel Sports also highly recommends the oiling of all cricket bats prior to use to prevent the willow from drying out.

“Superficial face and edge marks will appear after a certain amount of use in all cricket bats. The performance is unaffected and something I expect to see in my own bats”

ALAN BORDER (Ex. Australian Test Captain)

ALL BATS WILL DEVELOP SURFACE CRACKS AND MARKS WITH USAGE. THIS IS SOMETHING NORMAL WITH ANY BRAND OF BAT IN THE MARKET. OFTEN THE DAMAGE ON TOES, EDGES, AND SHOULDERS OF A BAT ARE DUE TO INACCURATE PLAY OR THE USE OF VERY HARD BALLS. WE PROVIDE AN EXTENSIVE REPAIR SERVICE WHICH CAN FIX MOST DAMAGE. WE ALSO DO NOT PUT A LIFESPAN ON ANY BAT SOLD REGARDLESS OF THE PRICE AS ALL BATS ARE MADE FROM A NATURAL PRODUCT.
